Description

The phrase "Non-Normal Checklist" can refer to what is otherwise known as an "Emergency and Abnormal Checklist." Under either title, the contents must be reproduced identically from the Operations Manual (OM). The presentation of procedures may be altered for ease of reference but must not deviate from the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).

Some non-normal checklists can contain memory items, which are highlighted. The phrases Non-Normal Checklist and Emergency and Abnormal Checklist can refer to the Quick Reference Handbook (QRH).
