Maintenance Review Board

Definition

The group led by the Airworthiness Authority which determines, by issue of an Maintenance Review Board Report, the principles which should be applied to the development of a Maintenance Programme for an aircraft type or aircraft engine type. Through the life of the aircraft, further MRB Reports are issued as necessary to ensure that approved maintenance regimes continue to take full account of aircraft modifications and variants.
