Controlled VFR

Definition

Controlled VFR is a sub category of Visual Flight Rules (VFR) flight where clearance is given by Air Traffic Control to an aircraft being operating in accordance with those rules to enter and remain within a Control Zone. It is effectively a form of Special VFR.
