Introduction to Systemic Safety Investigation and Analysis [SAF-SSI-INTRO]

This virtual course will provide a brief introduction to the principles of systemic safety investigation and analysis, with some sessions presenting necessary knowledge on the subject and some practical exercises to stimulate thinking and confirm participant understanding. 
The virtual course will run across five consecutive mornings with presentation sessions of about 90 minutes (including Q&A time) followed by practical sessions focussed on application of the theoretical knowledge presented earlier and some preparation for the following day. 
During this entry level generic virtual course opportunities for application of theoretical concepts, effective coaching and skill development will be limited by use of the video conferencing medium. The classroom-based "ATM Occurrence Investigation and Analysis [SAF-INV]" course provides greater opportunity for effective coaching to develop practical investigation skills and apply analysis methodologies, and is thus recommended for those who will be conducting investigations.
