This document describes the process and the results of the analysis of a worldwide sample of runway incursion accidents & serious incidents that occurred in the period 2006 - 2016 and for which an investigation report has been published, in English, by the respective national air accident investigation body (AAIB). The analysis was carried out by means of the Safety Functions Maps (SAFMAP) barrier model. The purpose of this report is to support the review of the European Action Plan for the Prevention of Runway Incursions (EAPPRI).
