The purpose of this Safety Notice is to highlight to ATC providers and ATCOs, the procedures used by pilots when conducting a missed approach resulting from a windshear alert generated by the aircraft’s onboard equipment, and the possible conflict with the missed approach procedure. Whilst this Safety Notice is primarily focused on pilot actions where onboard equipment is carried, similar pilot actions in response to windshear may be expected in nonequipped aircraft.
