ICAO Annex 3 has upgraded Met QA from a Recommendation to a Standard “from 15 November 2012, each contracting state shall ensure that the designated meteorological authority establishes and implements a properly organized quality system. The ICAO Met Group for Europe and North Atlantic (METG) has defined recommendations for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to address this requirement. The subject is addressed in this presentation.
