On 15 December 1993, an Israel Aircraft Industries 1124A (WW24) operated by Martin Aviation experienced an in-flight loss of control and crashed about 3.5 NM north of John Wayne Airport (SNA), Santa Ana, California. The captain, as pilot-in-command was executing a night visual approach behind a Beech Liner and a Boeing 757. The 2-men crew and all three passengers were killed in the accident.
