This document provides an introduction to aircraft ground deicing, a brief description of the forty five current documents issued by the SAE G-12 Aircraft Ground Deicing Committee, documents issued by other SAE Committees, guidance issued by regulators, the FAA, Transport Canada, EASA and ICAO, documents issued by airframe manufacturers (e.g., Boeing), a list of abbreviations, an index, and flowcharts for the documents and a list of preferred words and expressions.
