Loss of Control
The flight crew's inability to assess or manage the aircraft's energy condition during the approach is often cited as a cause of unstabilised approaches. Inappropriate energy levels may result in accidents or incidents involving loss of control, runway undershoot, hard landing, tail strike, runway overrun, etc.
