On 12 March, 2005 near Stuttgart, a BAe-146 experienced a loss of elevator control authority attributed to freezing of re-hydrated ground de-ice fluid residues. The crew diverted the flight to location with favourable weather conditions for a landing using elevator trim. The aircraft landed at Stuttgard Airport without further incident.
