The 2016 version of EASA's Annual Safety Review. Safety Risk Portfolios are now provided for 10 different operational domains. For the first time analysis is provided on Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) operations, otherwise known as drones. the analysis provided in this review aims to provide both a statistical summary of aviation safety in the EASA Member States (EASA MS) and to identify the most common safety issues that lead to accidents in the different operational domains of aviation. The safety risk portfolios provide the data-driven input to the decision-making process that supports the European Plan for Aviation Safety (EPAS).
