This document sets out the minimum regulatory standards for UK operators to establish and run an ATQP. It gives guidance on how to interpret the regulations to realise the safety and training benefits of an ATQP while ensuring the integrity of the operation. It is recognised that most operators run informal training programmes over and above Part ORO.FC.A requirements. The guidance in this document allows credit to be given for this and for these programmes to be formalised under an ATQP. It also recognises that operators will seek to keep their established training standards and methodologies and only make changes where the regulations demand it.
