HGS is an advanced head-up display providing essential flight information and guidance in all phases of flight such as:
- recovery guidance in the event of unusual occurrences (TCAS alerts, unusual attitudes, wind shear)
- flare guidance during final approach
- low visibility take-off and approach guidance
