Veer Savarkar International Airport, commonly known as Port Blair Airport, is an international airport located 2 km south of Port Blair and is the main airport of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India.

Climatology

Tropical Monsoon climate (Köppen climate classification Am) - monthly mean temperatures above 18°C in every month of the year and features wet and dry seasons. A tropical monsoon climate typically features less pronounced dry seasons than a tropical savanna climate and sees less variance in temperatures during the course of the year. The driest month nearly always occurs at or soon after the "winter" solstice.
