Raleigh County Memorial Airport is a public use airport located 6 km east of the central business district of Beckley, a city in Raleigh County, West Virginia.

Climatology

Transition between humid “subtropical” climate (Köppen climate classification Cfa) and humid "continental" climate (Köppen climate classification Dfa) - characterized by hot, humid summers and cool to cold winters. Significant amounts of precipitation occur in all seasons in most areas. Winter snowfall is associated with large storms that the westerlies steer from west to east. Most summer rainfall occurs during thunderstorms.
