Volkel Air Base is a military airbase used by the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF), and is located near the town of Uden, Noord-Brabant, in the Netherlands. It is home to two F-16 Fighting Falcon squadrons, 312 and 313. Besides military use, a traumahelicopter is based here.

Climatology

Temperate Marine climate/Oceanic climate (Köppen climate classification Cfb). Moderately cool summer and comparatively warm winter with a temperature range of only 14°C. Prevailing south-westerly winds from the Atlantic Ocean.
